A lame duck and domesticated goose have been found by the RSPCA injured at a pond in Tredegar.
Officers from the charity were responding to calls about the injured goose at Cefn Golau ponds, when they found the duck at the same location. Both are lame suggesting they have sore legs.
They fear the domesticated goose may have been dumped by an owner due to the injuries.

There are fears two men deliberately set a dog on a cat in Tredegar in the early hours of Thursday morning (February 8), following reports to RSPCA Cymru.
A ginger male neutered cat was found on Yscuborwen in the town with deep wounds to his leg and back end, thought to have occurred as a result of the alleged dog attack.

An urgent appeal for information has been launched, after a dog was picked up in Princetown, Tredegar, with horrific injuries, and a leg hanging off.
The grey male lurcher was caught by Gwent Police today (19 June), and is now in RSPCA Cymru care for treatment. He had been found on Merthyr Road.
It is suspected the dog’s right hind leg has been left hanging off after getting trapped by a snare, which has gone right through the bone.
