The RSPCA is appealing for information after a poorly cat with a deformed tail who was unable to walk was dumped in a box in Stoke-on-Trent.
A group of children witnessed a woman, who had a dalmatian dog with her, dump the cat in Wileman Street at around 4pm on Thursday, 31 August.
The woman, who had short brown hair, allegedly told the children, “If you want to kill the cat, you could.”

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a turtle with a severely swollen body was found abandoned in a Stoke-on-Trent park.
The musk turtle was found in Hartshill Park on Wednesday (30 August). The member of the public who found the turtle contacted the RSPCA, who transferred the turtle to an exotics vet.

The RSPCA is appealing for information about a video being circulated on the internet which shows an injured sheep – thought to have a broken leg – being tossed into a field by a man.
It is believed that the footage – which has been retweeted more than 6,000 times on Twitter – was filmed near to Stoke-on-Trent, however the RSPCA does not have any further information at this stage.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a fox died after being shot with a plastic arrow in Stoke-on-Trent.
The animal welfare charity was contacted on Sunday after a member of the public spotted the animal with the arrow sticking out of his back left leg in Spout Lane. Sadly, when an RSPCA inspector found him he had died from his injuries.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after three shivering domestic quails were dumped in a Stoke-on-Trent park.
The RSPCA was contacted on Monday last week (24 July) after a member of the public saw a man walk towards a lake in Tunstall Park with a large metal cage. He was then seen throwing the terrified birds into the water before walking away. The incident occurred at around 6pm.
