An RSPCA officer arrived to their van after tending to horse welfare issues – only to find their windscreen had been smashed in broad daylight.
RSPCA inspector Christine McNeil returned to her van on Wentloog Avenue in Cardiff, last Thursday (7 February), to find the act of vandalism had been committed. The windscreen was smashed between 5pm and 5.30pm.

Five dead ponies have been found dumped in a Pentyrch ditch – with a pair of trainers potentially offering a clue as to who abandoned their bodies.
The shocking discovery, on Tyn-Y-Coed Road, has prompted an RSPCA Cymru appeal for information, with a pair of blue Adidas trainers found at the scene potentially linked to the incident.

RSPCA Cymru has launched an appeal for information after a cat was fatally shot in the Neath area.
The cat – named Bird – was found with a puncture wound between his shoulder blades, and was in severe distress as he dragged his back legs along the floor.
Sadly, Bird’s injuries were so severe that he later died from the extent of the injuries.
