The RSPCA is reminding dog-owners to keep their pets on leads around wildlife after a duck was found with shocking injuries in Telford thought to have been caused by a dog.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a 10-week-old emaciated kitten was abandoned in a box on a rural road.

The black, male kitten was found by a member of the public last Friday (4 December) on a hairpin bend in Ironbridge Road, Jackfield, in Telford.
