RSPCA Cymru have rescued a lamb in the Llŷn Peninsula who was stuck on a cliff edge without grazing and being pecked by birds.
The animal welfare charity was alerted after walkers spotted the sheep stranded on the ledge at the Trefor Sea Stacks.
No grazing was available on the cliff edge for the lamb, while she was surrounded by nesting shag birds who would peck her every time she moved.

A 12-strong team of RSPCA officers – including rope rescue specialists – have saved three sheep trapped precariously on a steep cliff edge at Dinas Island in West Wales.
The sheep had become trapped on the cliff above the sea with very limited grazing available and were in “serious jeopardy”.

The RSPCA and the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service have teamed up to come to the aid of a sheep stuck on cliffs at Blaenllechau in the Rhondda Fach valley.

RSPCA Cymru and Natural Resources Wales have joined forces to urge livestock owners in flood-risk areas to sign up for flood alerts, after the RSPCA rescued 12 stranded sheep from River Clwyd flooding in mid-June.
The animal welfare charity was alerted after members of the public spotted the stranded sheep in a meadow, with water current either side of the animals.
