An RSPCA officer is swapping his inspectorate uniform for his running shorts – as he looks to chalk-up a 590-mile lap of South Wales to raise funds for animals in need.
David Milborrow – who has been on the frontline for the RSPCA since 2014 – is running an entire lap of South Wales, and hopes to have completed his on-foot tour of the region by the end of 2021.

The Phantom of the Opera cast member will raise money for the RSPCA
A West End performer is taking on the London Landmarks half marathon to raise funds to help animals in need.
James Butcher, who is currently performing in the Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London, will be running the half marathon later this month to raise money for the RSPCA.

The RSPCA is offering runners the chance to take part in the now sold-out Leeds Half Marathon. The organisers announced they have no more places available for the race on Sunday 11 May earlier today (Monday 24 March).
The news means the only places still available are those held by charities.

A man from County Durham has become an #AnimalHero, running the Amsterdam Marathon to raise money for RSPCA Felledge Animal Centre.
Peter Harrison rehomed his ‘lovely cat’, called ‘Autumn’, from Felledge in January this year but, not satisfied with that, wanted to give even more back to the centre that had given her so much.
