RSPCA Llys Nini are holding a funding raising event in Bryngarw Country Park, Bridgend on Sunday 28th July.
The “Mutt Strutt” is a sponsored walk for people with or without their dogs. It is a chance for people to appreciate Bryngarw’s surroundings and for dog owners to gather and socialise in the lovely surroundings of the park.

Legislation promised by end of the year

RSPCA Cymru has cautiously welcomed plans by the Welsh Government to introduce legislation to tackle fly grazing of the horses and ponies in Wales before the end of the year.
The plans were announced last night as part of the Welsh Government’s legislative priorities for 2013/14.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after two cats were found dead on a riverbank near Elizabeth Street in Pentre, Rhondda, on Sunday (14/07/13).

Specialist RSPCA equine officers are attending Seamer Horse Fair from today (Thursday 11 July). The site opened this morning with the actual horse fair itself taking place on Monday (15 July).
The RSPCA will have three officers present each day along with a veterinary surgeon from Redwings Horse Sanctuary.

A dog has been found obese and arthritic on a street in Hyde. The female Doberman had to be put to sleep to end her suffering.
She was spotted on Valley Road in Hyde on Tuesday 25 June by a member of the public who called the RSPCA.
