The search for the owner of a peregrine falcon has been launched after the bird of prey was rescued in bizarre circumstances – having being found stuck on a Cardiff television aerial.

Two young kittens have come into the care of the RSPCA, after the deputy manager of Newport Animal Centre spotted the tiny cats dumped in a cat carrier in bushes outside the centre yesterday (5 July). 

Kath Logan, the centre’s deputy manager, made the shock discovery between 5pm and 6pm.

Two four-week old puppies were found alone, abandoned and in “terrible condition” near Pembroke Dock train station, prompting an RSPCA Cymru search for information.

RSPCA officers were alerted after the two black and tan lurcher-type pups were found alone, and covered in a greasy oil-like substance, on Hamilton Court in Pembroke Dock town by a passer-by. They were found on Sunday morning (15 October).
