A stray black and white female lurcher in an “emaciated, weak and unwell” state was found in the Merthyr area, prompting an RSPCA Cymru appeal for information.

Reports to the charity suggest the dog was found in the town on Wednesday 10 May, in the Cefn Coed Cemetery at Cefn-Coed-Y-Cymmer.
