The RSPCA teamed up with Humberside Fire & Rescue Service to save the life of a dog who was stuck in the River Hull.

 

Fire crews were called to Marsden Landing, off Sextant Road, Hull last Tuesday night (3 October) after passersby spotted a dog stuck in the mud in the river.

The body of a bloated Staffordshire bull terrier-cross dog has been retrieved from a Llangollen river, with rope tied around the neck. 

RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information, after the sad discovery was made by a passer-by on 23 June, between the hours of 12.30pm and 12.45pm.
