There’s no doubt that anyone who meets Roxy is going to fall head over heels in love with her.

Roxy, the brindle crossbreed dog who is around four-years-old, is currently awaiting her forever home at the RSPCA Newport Animal Centre.

Unfortunately, she is not enjoying her time in kennels and staff at the centre are keen to find her the perfect home as soon as possible.

The RSPCA is appealing for a dog-lover to rehome a pup who had his leg amputated after being neglected by his previous owners.

Ralph, an eleven-month-old Staffordshire bull terrier cross, was rescued from a house in Sutton-in-Ashfield by an RSPCA inspector in February this year. He had a fractured left back leg, three broken ribs and a fractured pelvis which had gone untreated for at least 10 days. It is not known for certain how he sustained the injuries.

A dog whose previous owner was caught kicking and punching him on CCTV is still waiting for a new home 14 months later.

Miller, a five-year-old bull mastiff cross, came into the RSPCA’s care in February last year after his then-owner attacked him.
