The RSPCA is appealing for information after a dead six-week-old puppy was found dumped in a box on a Derbyshire street.

The male brown and white crossbreed-type puppy was found in Guildford Avenue, Swadlincote, on Friday evening (15 December). The person who found the dog, inside a pink box, contacted the RSPCA.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after the body of a four-month-old puppy with injuries to his neck and leg was found in a communal bin in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

A member of the public made the shocking discovery, in Wilton Street, on Tuesday evening (12 December).

The body of the tan Staffordshire bull terrier-type dog, who had blood all over his neck and face, has now been removed by an RSPCA officer.

The emaciated body of a Staffy puppy has been found in a tiny crate on the side of a road near Doncaster Sheffield Airport.  

 

The eight month old dog was surrounded by rotting human food which had clearly been pushed through the bars or thrown into the crate including bread, chips, chicken nuggets and meatballs.

 

He was found by a cyclist on a grass verge on High Common Lane, Austerfield, Doncaster at 12.35pm yesterday (Thursday 26 October).

The RSPCA is appealing for information after an extremely poorly tiny puppy was found abandoned in woodland in Kirkham this week.

RSPCA Bryn-Y-Maen Centre is seeking volunteers to support animal welfare by becoming foster carers.

The centre, based in Upper Colwyn Bay, is seeking individuals who could offer suitable, temporary homes to any of their animals and – in particular – puppies and small breed dogs.

Bryn-Y-Maen rehomed 453 animals in 2016, and foster carers often play a vital role in the rehabilitation process for animals rescued from cruelty and neglect.
