RSPCA Cymru will march at this weekend’s Pride Cymru in a show of strength against intolerance – while highlighting the prejudice four types of dogs still face under discriminatory UK law.

The animal welfare charity will again have a presence at Pride Cymru – marching in the eagerly-anticipated Parade, and discussing animal welfare with attendees at a dedicated RSPCA stand at the Big Weekend event in Cardiff.

RSPCA inspectorate officers will join Cardiff’s annual Pride parade for the first time, as the charity prepares for its “biggest, best and most brilliant” presence at the festival.

Officers – including wildlife casualty volunteers, animal collection officers, inspectors, and the RSPCA’s superintendent for Wales – will take to the streets of Cardiff for Saturday’s parade (August 25).

RSPCA Cymru has launched a new limited edition range of clothing ahead of Cardiff’s Pride Cymru event, featuring animals carrying positive connotations within the LGBT community.

The clothing range will launch as part of RSPCA’s “biggest ever” presence at Pride Cymru, taking place at Cardiff City Hall. The charity will be at Pride Cymru on 26 and 27 August.
