A young female cat has been rescued in Trebanog, after becoming trapped on a steep roof.
RSPCA Cymru was contacted after the visibly-frightened cat was spotted atop the two-storied block of flats, on Henllys in the South Wales village.
The animal welfare charity enlisted the support of South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, who had the equipment to climb the flats to reach the troubled cat.

RSPCA Cymru is searching for the owner of a very thin and lethargic cat who was rescued in the Porth area of South Wales.
Officers from the charity came to the aid of the cat, who was found to be very thin, lethargic and flea-ridden after a member of the public spotted the troubled puss on Henllys in the town on Wednesday (10 June).

An appeal for information has been launched, following the suspected poisoning of two cats in Porth.
RSPCA Cymru is also urging pet owners to be vigilant, after an owner – from Leslie Terrace in the town – lost both of her cats.
A local resident returned home on 28 January to find one of her cats dead, with veterinary inspection confirming her second cat had also been poisoned.

A couple in Porth were left shocked after the pelt of a deer was found dumped in their back garden, with its presence a “complete mystery”.
