The RSPCA is trying to find the owner of a friendly lovebird rescued from the chimney of a house in Middlesbrough.
The family who live at the property on Bradhope Road heard a noise behind their fireplace on Saturday morning (11 April) and found the little bird.
They managed to get the bird into a box and called the RSPCA.

The RSPCA is searching for the owner of a green Pacific parrotlet found on a Newport industrial estate.
Officers were alerted after the bird was found by a member of the public on 9 August, during the afternoon, on the Leeway Industrial Estate.
The bird is very tame, and officers believe it is likely to have escaped from a home in the local area.

A search for the owner of an African Grey Parrot has been launched, after being found at the school of engineering at Cardiff University.

We reunited an escaped parrot with his owners after he flew to a nearby greengrocers to get his five a day.
Romeo, a red lory, disappeared after he flew off from his home at Tilgate Nature Park last Tuesday 19.
