A one-week-old lurcher-type puppy whose eyes were still closed has been found in a cardboard box in a Wrexham alley-way.
The report was made to the RSPCA by a member of the public, who says the puppy was found alone, with a blanket in the box outside their back gate on Queen Street in Ruabon on Tuesday evening (26 June).

An appeal for information has been launched after a very unwell Staffordshire bull terrier was found by a member of the public in Moss Valley Park in Wrexham.
The male dog, dark brindle and white in colour, was found in an “appalling state” on Thursday evening (22 March). e was having a seizure, and appeared very thin – so was taken to a local veterinary practice.

A fox trapped in a snare in Holywell has been rescued and released by RSPCA Cymru.
Following his rescue near Llanerch-Y-Mor in February, the male fox was taken to RSPCA’s Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre for vet treatment.
After a successful period of rehabilitation rescuers released the fox back into the wild on Tuesday evening (6 March). Heartwarming video footage caught the moment the fox returned to the wild.

A member of the public in Bagillt had a shock after their door was knocked, and they were handed a poorly snake stuffed in a pillowcase.
The boa constrictor was dumped at the Neston View property yesterday evening (27 February), shortly after 6.30pm.
