The RSPCA has come to the aid of a nesting gull based in a busy car park in Llandudno.
An officer from the charity was alerted after reports of an injured gull in the car park of Parc Llandudno in North Wales.
However, the animal welfare charity attended – on 9 June – to find the gull had built a nest containing an egg on a raised island separating four parking spaces.

RSPCA Cymru is searching for the owner of a stray peacock in Bangor.
The animal welfare charity was contacted today (30 May) after the peacock was spotted outside a Coed Y Castell property in the North Wales city.
No rings are visible on the bird, and members of the public report it has been losing some tail feathers.

A tiny, four-week-old kitten was saved from a state of desperation after becoming trapped amid very large rock boulders on the breakwater on Towyn beach.
RSPCA Cymru was alerted after the members of the public heard meows at the boulders adjacent to a cycle path – though the cat could not be seen.
Officers from the charity made three separate visits to the site to secure necessary access to the kitten.

A run-away tortoise spent at least FOUR DAYS roaming Wrexham woodland.
RSPCA Cymru was alerted after a member of the public found the female Horsefield tortoise in woods adjacent to their Linden Grove property in Llay on 20 March.
However, local residents had spotted the animal four days previously – before the tortoise was later safely collected by a member of the public, and the RSPCA was notified.

Two pugs were seen tossed from a red Sedan-type car on Wednesday (20 February) in the Wrexham area, in a move labelled a “disgusting way to treat animals”.
A member of the public witnessed the incident – with the dogs reportedly dumped from the vehicle at traffic lights, on a junction as you depart Coedpoeth and join the A483.
