Welsh Government plans to make microchipping compulsory for all dogs in Wales have been welcomed by RSPCA Cymru.
The animal welfare charity has been leading the campaign on this issue in Wales for several years. RSPCA Cymru believes that compulsory microchipping will help make it easier to identify the owners of those dogs that have strayed or are being mistreated, neglected, abandoned or lost.
