A cat has been found hanged from a 6ft fence by a dressing gown cord at a Manchester church.
The white and ginger cat appeared to be healthy and the RSPCA is urging his owner, and anyone with any information, to get in touch.
The shocking discovery was made by a churchgoer heading to a service at Moston Spiritual Church on Church Lane, Moston just after 7pm on Monday night (20 November).

A missing husky called ‘Murphy’ has been reunited with his family in Bradford thanks to the RSPCA.
He was signed over to an RSPCA inspector who visited a house in Manchester where the owner said they couldn’t look after their two dogs any more.

Cyclists are being urged to sign up to the Manchester to Blackpool Bike Ride and raise money for RSPCA Greater Manchester Animal Hospital (GMAH) in Salford.
The 60 mile ride, which takes place on Sunday 13 July, will set off from Manchester United’s Football Ground at Old Trafford, Manchester and finish on the South Promenade in Blackpool.

A trainee guide dog has been named Joan in honour of a lady who left money to us to be used to train a guide dog.
As we don’t train guide dogs, we gave the money to the charity Guide Dogs in 2011 to sponsor the training of a dog from puppy to qualified guide dog.
