The RSPCA is appealing for information after three dead foxes were found in a Staffordshire field in the space of two weeks.

The bodies have been found in Darnford Lane, Lichfield, over the course of a fortnight, with the more recent one found on Thursday, 6 April.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after three cats died from antifreeze poisoning in the same area of Burntwood since the start of the year.

The cats – who all lived around Oak Lane in the Chase Terrace area – all died from kidney failure, with tests confirming that they ingested antifreeze. The third cat died earlier this month.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a cat suffered facial injuries when he was shot in Lichfield.

The six-year-old male black cat, named Tom, was found with the injuries by his owner last Saturday (23 April) near his home in Broadbent Close.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after an injured pigeon with sharp plastic hooks on his feet was rescued in Staffordshire.

RSPCA inspector Laura Bryant rescued the pigeon on Tuesday (2 February) after he had gotten stuck in a garden in Poolfield Road, Lichfield. He is now being cared for at the RSPCA’s Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre, in Cheshire.
