The RSPCA is appealing for information after a cat was set on by dogs and died in Hull.
Four dogs were seen being encouraged to attack the black cat by two men and a teenage boy.
The incident happened in the garden of a derelict house on Flinton Grove and some wasteland behind the property between 10am – 2pm on Sunday 10 February.

Two dead dogs have been found buried in a shallow grave in Stockton-on-Tees, one of them with a severely fractured skull.
The lurcher-types – one male and one female – were discovered buried down a disused railway line about 200 metres off Letch Lane by a woman walking her dog on Wednesday morning (21 March).

A man from Newcastle has been sentenced after his dog with found dead with severe head injuries and set on fire.
David Rourke (D.O.B 04.12.58) of Farne Terrace appeared before Newcastle Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Wednesday 21 March) after being arrested on a warrant.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a dog was found stabbed in the head in a fly-tipped suitcase in Halifax.
The ‘big strong healthy’ male bull breed was wearing a collar and lead which was found wrapped around his front legs, as if to restrain him.
The case was dumped alongside a fridge freezer in a layby on Heath Hill Road, Wharley. Council workers made the grim discovery on Friday (26 January) and called the RSPCA.

A dog has been found shot in the head twice in a field in Old Eldon, Shildon, County Durham.
The female Dogue de Bordeaux had recently had puppies and was extremely emaciated.
X-rays show she suffered a fractured skull and veterinary opinion is that she would have suffered for some time before she died.
