ASSEMBLY Member for North Wales, Janet Haworth, accompanied RSPCA inspector Kia Thomas on several calls in and around her North Wales region yesterday [30 July].

Throughout the course of a busy day, they dealt with a number of incidents, involving both companion and farm animals.

One such incident centred on a Shetland pony, which had sadly been subject to a suspected stabbing. RSPCA Cymru has launched a separate appeal for information in relation to this incident.
