A hamster has been rescued by the RSPCA after getting stuck in a patio door in Cumbria.

 

Mike was found trapped in the gap underneath the glass door last Tuesday night (18 February).

The RSPCA is appealing for information after an emaciated and suffering dog was found in Maltby, South Yorkshire. 

 

Dingo – as he’s been named by RSPCA staff – came into our care on Monday (1 July) after a call to our cruelty line.

Marley – who is around two years old – lived on the streets with his former owner but could not cope with the freezing conditions.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after six dead ferrets were found on land just off the A1 at Grantham.

 

The ginger-coloured ferrets were first noticed by a local homeowner on land between Rosemary Crescent and the A1 southbound just after the A607 exit at around 12 noon on Tuesday (27 March).

The RSPCA is making a last ditch appeal to try to find the owner of a dog who died at the vets after being brought in by someone who said they had seen her being kicked and rescued her.

 

The 10 year old black female Staffy – called ‘Kara’ according to her microchip – was taken to a vet practice in Wallsend on 15 November with breathing difficulties, and died shortly afterwards. She also had large mammary tumours.
