The RSPCA has launched an appeal for information after an underweight, dead, maggot-infested French bulldog puppy was found wrapped in a towel by a Merthyr riverbank.

 A member of the public made the shock discovery on 24 July, opposite Merthyr College, by the bank of the River Taff in the centre of the South Wales town.

A search for the owner of a French bulldog has been launched by RSPCA Cymru, after the dog was found alone in Swansea, with its only identifier being an unregistered microchip from Poland.

An appeal for information has been launched after the discovery of a French bulldog in the Splott area of Cardiff with a large bleeding mammary tumour on her left-side.

The dog was found by a member of the public on Wednesday (17 January), and taken in by the local authority. A veterinarian gave the dog antibiotics, and a full examination.

Two French bulldog pups found abandoned in a Pontypool cardboard box are set to become television stars, after a remarkable U-turn in RSPCA Cymru care.

A pair of terrified French bulldog puppies have been rescued by RSPCA Cymru, after being found in a cardboard box in Pontypool Park on Saturday 12 November.

The two male pups were found – with many of their bones visible – by a member of the public walking his own dogs in Pontypool, who then contacted the RSPCA.
