This is the heartbreaking moment caught on CCTV footage of a puppy being dumped by its owner outside the gates of our Birmingham Animal Centre and Hospital.

The incident happened at around 11am on Wednesday 11 December at the centre in Frankley.

Today (Wednesday 20 November) saw his Royal Highness the Duke of Gloucester officially opened our flagship state of the art animal centre and hospital in Birmingham.

Our new Animal Centre and Hospital at Newbrook Farm, Frankley is our national centre of excellence for animal welfare.
