The RSPCA is appealing for information after a horse suffered severe chemical burns in what’s thought to have been a deliberate attack.
The filly – thought to be aged around eight months old – is being treated for injuries to her head, as well as lice, internal parasites and anaemia at a vet practice in North Yorkshire, after being found with the injuries in Clowne, Derbyshire.

A baby foal has been rescued from Snowdonia, after becoming stranded from his mother.
The RSPCA was contacted after the foal followed members of the public down a mountainside on 1 July, near the Coedty Reservoir, above Tal-y-Bont, before collapsing.
It is understood the foal followed a family for approximately four miles, before being carried a further distance by the members of the public after it fell to the ground.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a young foal was left to die in a country lane in Derbyshire.
The colt – not believed to be any older than four months – was found by a member of the public in Slayley Hill, Clowne, yesterday (Tuesday 26 January).

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a foal was found with burn injuries in Derbyshire died.
Four-month-old Angus, was found by his owner with burn injuries to his leg and face while he was stabled in Alexandra Terrace, in Pinxton, on Wednesday (August 19).
Angus was treated by a vet but sadly he did not recover and died.

A foal who made a miraculous recovery from the “brink of death” is now ready for a new home.
Hope, a dark bay thoroughbred type filly, was rescued by us in April after being found collapsed in a field in Oxford. She is thought to have been just four and a half months old when she was found.
