Two pigeons have been saved in remarkable circumstances, rescued five floors up at a Hilton hotel in Cardiff.
RSPCA Cymru attended the scene, after the two birds were spotted – on 17 February – dangling from their feet, trapped in netting towards the top of the Hilton Hotel, in the centre of Wales’ capital city.

RSPCA Cymru worked with South Wales Fire & Rescue to save a cat trapped approximately 65-feet up a tree in the Swansea area.
The young cat, named Olly, had become stuck up the tree on 27 January, just a few doors down from the owner’s property, in Loughor.
RSPCA Cymru arrived to the garden of the Maes Yr Haf Place property, where the cat was found towards the top of the towering tree.

An RSPCA officer caught a cat which was tumbling 40-foot to the floor from a towering tree in a remarkable Cardiff rescue.
RSPCA animal collection officer Annie Janes completed the rescue in the Penylan area of the city on 29 December.
Members of the public had spotted the cat – named Pedro – who appeared scared and remained still in the tree, with weather conditions cold and icy. Attempts from residents to coax the feline down with food proved unsuccessful…. Continue reading…
