An appeal for information has been launched, after claims members of the public in Cwmbran witnessed a man set his three dogs on a cat, who was killed by the incident.
RSPCA Cymru and Gwent Police are appealing for information, after the alleged incident took place on 3 July in the Fairwater area of the town.

Two disemboweled Canada geese have been found in Cardiff, with RSPCA Cymru appealing for information linked to the horrific discovery.
A member of the public found the birds on 22 March, in woodland behind Fir Avenue in the Fairwater area of the city.
The geese were hanging from separate trees, and had been paunched, with all potentially-edible meat cut away. There was a large yellow hazardous waste sack also present, which contained feathers.

Three gulls have had to be put to sleep after being found trapped in fishing litter in the Cardiff area.
RSPCA Cymru worked with Cardiff City Council, and South Wales Fire & Rescue, to help the birds on 17 January – but, unfortunately, their injuries were too severe and they had to be put to sleep.
