Woman made discovery in woodland at Pentwyn, Cardiff.

A cat is lucky to be alive after she was found trapped inside a bag that had been stapled shut and abandoned in woodland in the Pentwyn area of Cardiff.
The ginger and white cat was discovered on Thursday, October 3rd when a woman walking in the woods spotted something moving inside the bag and notified the RSPCA.

A female Shar Pei dog has been rescued from a ditch in Cottingham, East Yorkshire by two RSPCA inspectors.
A dog walker spotted her stuck down the ditch on Middledyke Lane last Wednesday (4 September 2013) and called the RSPCA. She’s now been named ‘Wendy’ after the member of the public.

We are appealing for information on how a cat and her kittens came to be dumped in Gloucester.
A shivering mother cat and her two kittens were found abandoned on a bench in Berkeley Street, Gloucester this week.
The cats had been wrapped tightly in a pink paw print blanket and left on a bench in the town centre.
Luckily they were spotted by an eagle-eyed member of the public who took them home and called us.

We are appealing for information after a kitten was stuffed inside a suitcase and then thrown into a river in Whitworth, Lancashire last Friday (August 2).
The 16-week-old male kitten was found after a passer-by heard a meow coming from the river at about midday. They pulled the battered black case from the water at the junction of Milner Road and Rivers Edge Road and discovered the tiny animal inside.
