An elderly Staffordshire bull terrier has been found abandoned amid black bags and a towel down a Maesteg lane.

RSPCA Cymru has launched an appeal for information after the lethargic dog was found in a very poor state, struggling to walk, emaciated and with a growth to the body.

A member of the public found the dog at approximately 11.20am on Wednesday (16 May).

An RSPCA Cymru appeal for information has been launched after a blind puppy was allegedly kicked in Wrexham.

Calls to the charity claim three men in the Penycae area of the town were seen with the puppy, aged approximately six weeks old, and one deliberately kicked the dog to the body.

Two dead dogs have been found buried in a shallow grave in Stockton-on-Tees, one of them with a severely fractured skull. 

 

The lurcher-types – one male and one female – were discovered buried down a disused railway line about 200 metres off Letch Lane by a woman walking her dog on Wednesday morning (21 March).

An appeal for information has been launched after a very unwell Staffordshire bull terrier was found by a member of the public in Moss Valley Park in Wrexham.

The male dog, dark brindle and white in colour, was found in an “appalling state” on Thursday evening (22 March). e was having a seizure, and appeared very thin – so was taken to a local veterinary practice.
