Deer rescued after becoming entangled in child’s swing

 

The RSPCA rescued a sika deer entangled by a child’s swing which had become wrapped around his antlers in Wool, Dorset at the weekend.

A deer has been rescued by the RSPCA after getting stuck in a tree at Haydock racecourse in Newton le Willows, Merseyside.

 

The Roe deer buck had become trapped with his front legs over one side of a tree and his back legs over the other.

 

The RSPCA was contacted about the animal’s plight on the morning of Wednesday 5 March and animal welfare officer (AWO) Matt Brown and animal collection officer (ACO) Victoria Marsh attended.
