RSPCA appeals for information

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a three month-old puppy was found dumped with a fractured leg by an alleyway full of rubbish.

The black and white Lurcher cross – now named Poppy – was found behind a garden shed in Gurney Crescent, Croydon on Sunday (30 January). A member of the public called us with concern after spotting her limping.

A huge stray cat called Buster has been happily rehomed with retired folk in a Croydon care home by the RSPCA.

Buster is a friendly three-year-old, neutered male black and white cat with bright green eyes.

RSPCA South East branch spokesperson, David Mawson, said :
