The RSPCA is appealing for information after a horse suffered severe chemical burns in what’s thought to have been a deliberate attack.

 

The filly – thought to be aged around eight months old – is being treated for injuries to her head, as well as lice, internal parasites and anaemia at a vet practice in North Yorkshire, after being found with the injuries in Clowne, Derbyshire.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a young foal was left to die in a country lane in Derbyshire.

The colt – not believed to be any older than four months – was found by a member of the public in Slayley Hill, Clowne, yesterday (Tuesday 26 January).

The RSPCA and a vet went to the scene, where the vet said that the foal was so poorly that he had to be put to sleep to prevent further suffering…. Continue reading…
