RSPCA staff to take part in cattery sleepover to raise money for moggies this Halloween

The staff at RSPCA South Godstone Animal Centre in Surrey are taking part in a ‘spooky’ cattery sleepover to raise much-needed funds for the 61 cats currently in their care.

The sponsored sleepover will take place on Wednesday (24 October) with four members of staff camping out overnight in the main corridor area of the cattery alongside the cat pods.

An RSPCA cattery in Cheshire is appealing to find the owner of a distinctive-looking cat who was saved from getting hit by cars on a busy road.

The cat – who is part black-and-white and part-tortoiseshell – was picked up by a member of the public at the side of Welsh Row, in Nantwich, on the afternoon of Sunday, 29 October.
