The RSPCA is appealing for information after a cat was shot in Nottinghamshire.

The male tabby cat, who had no collar and was not microchipped, was found with the injuries by a member of the public in Crowtrees Lane, Sutton-in-Ashfield, on Friday (21 August).

RSPCA appeals for information

The RSPCA is appealing for witnesses or those with information to come forward after two cats from one house were shot by air rifles in Sedgley, West Midlands.

The first cat (pictured right) was shot in the neck on 26 July last year and, although the pellet was in a very dangerous area, vets managed to remove it and the cat recovered.
