The RSPCA is appealing for information after a baby bunny was dumped alongside a dead adult rabbit in woodland at a country park.

A member of the public contacted the animal welfare charity on Saturday (20 May) after spotting the animals a few metres away from a cardboard box, which had straw bedding in it, in a footpath coming off the main car park at Bestwood Country Park, near Nottingham.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a rabbit was impaled on railings and set on fire over Easter Weekend.

 

The white Lion-head type was found by horrified members of the public who called the RSPCA at around 10pm on Saturday night (4 April).

 

The rabbit was spotted on Bellfield Lane off Milnrow Road in Rochdale, by the railway bridge. The location was very visible, right next to some traffic lights.
