A bearded dragon has been found dumped in a plastic bag on a Monmouth doorstep.

The female reptile was found in a seriously emaciated state with multiple wounds to its body, and sadly has yellow fungus disease. She remains very poorly.

RSPCA Cymru is urging the public to come forward with any information as to how she was dumped in this sorry state. The bearded dragon was abandoned on Cornwallis Way in the town on Tuesday 13 December.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a bearded dragon was abandoned inside a carrier bag outside a Birmingham hospital.

A member of the public contacted the animal welfare charity after they found the lizard inside the Morrisons’ bag on a bench opposite the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Edgbaston on Saturday, July 2.

A bearded dragon found dumped on a street in Bedfordshire had to be put to sleep after suffering from rickets.

 

The reptile was found on a pavement in Queen Elizabeth Close in Shefford on Wednesday 19 June unable to walk.

 

RSPCA animal collection officer (ACO) Kate Wright was called to collect the young bearded dragon and took him to a specialist vet.
