We are appealing for information after three herring gulls were shot with an airgun in a Cumbrian town.
The birds were found on Church Street in St Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria with several air gun pellets scattered around them last Wednesday (12 June). Two had died, and a third was badly injured and taken to a vet for treatment.

We appealing for information after a pony was shot in the face in a callous and brutal act of animal cruelty.
Bambi, a ten-year-old chestnut mare, was shot in the nose with a 20 inch bolt arrow, most likely fired from a crossbow.
The injured pony was spotted by a concerned member of the public on Monday, 10 June, at around 7pm in her field near Broad Car Road, Hoyland, Barnsley.

We are appealing for information after a Jack Russell was shot by an air rifle while out on her morning walk.
Paul Whiston, of Harlow, Essex walked his nine-year-old dog Millie to the end of their cul-de-sac on Saturday, 1 June when she was callously shot.
The damage was so serious that she lost a kidney and is continuing to suffer serious health problems.

We’re appealing for information about a nine-month-old cat which has been found in woods near Poole in Dorset after she was apparently abandoned.
The female black cat was discovered in a box left in woods at Branksome on Thursday, 2 May by a member of the public. They then took the cat to a local veterinary surgery where the abandoned animal was checked over.

The RSPCA is appealing for information on who dumped a horse at the side of a slip road off the A13 near Stanford-le-Hope in Essex.
The body of the piebald mare and her foal were found by police yesterday afternoon (23 April).
They were lying on the verge of a road leading off the B1007.
