We are appealing for information after a heron was shot with an airgun.
The juvenile bird was spotted in a garden in Yeovil, Somerset by a passing dog walker. He was in an underweight state and struggling to fly. We were called and an inspector came to rescue the bird and take him to the nearby West Hatch Wildlife Centre.

Phoenix, an 18 month old pale ginger cat, left her home as usual late in the evening of 10 September.

We helped to rescue a stray pony after he stepped onto the hard cover of a swimming pool in Chichester, and plunged through getting trapped between two sections of the broken cover.
The incident happened at a house in Marsh Lane, in Runcton, near Chichester on Thursday morning.

RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information after discovering a fox tied up inside a box in the garden of a house in Swansea. The fox was alive but her legs and muzzle were tied up and there was a piece of copper piping in her mouth.

We are appealing for information on how a cat and her kittens came to be dumped in Gloucester.
A shivering mother cat and her two kittens were found abandoned on a bench in Berkeley Street, Gloucester this week.
The cats had been wrapped tightly in a pink paw print blanket and left on a bench in the town centre.
Luckily they were spotted by an eagle-eyed member of the public who took them home and called us.
