We are appealing for help to track down the owner of a herd of ponies found wandering in farmland in Oxfordshire.
The five mares thought to range in age from eight to 12 years old were discovered loose on fields in Burford, Oxford last weekend.
RSPCA Inspector Doug Davidson managed to catch and transport the ponies with the help of Blue Cross pet charity’s equine team.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after the body of a dog was found stuffed in a bag that had washed up on a beach in Blackpool. It’s not known whether she was dead when she was put into the bag, and into the water, or not.

RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information about a dog who was left to starve to death in a shed in Blaenau Gwent.
The emaciated body of the Staffordshire bull terrier dog was discovered by a member of the public at an allotment on Jubilee Road in New Tredegar on 18 January 2014. The dog was a white, unneutered male with black spots on both his ears.

RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information about four Jack Russell puppies who were handed into a veterinary practice in Haverfordwest on Friday (January 31st 2014) with suspected chemical burns on their bodies.
The dogs were taken to the vets in the Portfield area by a group of people who said they had found the dogs dumped on the road, although they did not leave their contact details and left promptly afterwards.

RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information following reports that a number of birds have been shot in Beddau.
Over the last month local residents say a number birds – including crows, blackbirds and magpies – have been shot by someone using an airgun in the Gwaunmiskin road area.
Yesterday, RSPCA inspector Simon Evans, who is investigating the alleged incidents, retrieved a dead crow which is believed to be one of the victims.
