The RSPCA is appealing for information after three Cockapoo puppies were found in Wetherby in a ‘terrible state’.
The puppies – two females, who have been named Olive (left) and Emmy (middle), and one male, who has been named Gus (right) – were found by a member of the public on a bridle track off Deerstone Ridge on Sunday morning (6 May).

The decomposing and potentially burned body of a rabbit has been found dumped in a cage on a Caerphilly business park, prompting an RSPCA Cymru appeal for information.
Officers from the animal welfare charity were alerted after a member of the public found the cage off Van Road in the town yesterday (26 April).
The rabbit was found in a metal-barred cage, with the animal’s body very decomposed – comprising “little more than fur and bones”.
