RSPCA rescue operations come in all shapes and sizes and one of our officers in north Wales recently helped a hedgehog to freedom.
The juvenile hedgehog was found in the drain of a garden in Townsend Avenue, Wrexham on 10 August. Despite the best efforts of the householder the prickly creature wouldn’t budge but RSPCA inspector Kia Thomas came to the rescue. The lucky hedgehog was unharmed by his ordeal and returned to the wild.
