An appeal for information has been launched after two kittens were found in a cardboard box in Oswestry.

The kittens were found by a member of the public, who was walking their dog in the Morda area of the town. The discovery was made at Morda Children’s Park on Sunday (8 October).

An urgent appeal for information has been launched by RSPCA Cymru after a collapsed terrier-type dog was found in a desperate state, on Plas Acton Road in Pandy near Wrexham.

The small male dog, who was unneutered and without a microchip, was found in a small pull-in to a farm gate, next to the Pandy cemetery. He had a large tumour on his back, which was infested with maggots.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a young guinea pig was found wounded and dumped in a cramped, filthy hamster cage near some bins on an estate in Hemel Hempstead.

The boar was found dumped next to a lamppost and a rubbish area by a block of flats on Perry Green in the town by a member of the public, late in the evening on Friday, 20 May.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after two injured Hermann tortoises were abandoned by their owner outside the doors of Marwell Zoo in Winchester.

Marwell Zoo reported the incident to the RSPCA on Thursday 2 July after finding the two tortoises dumped in a container outside the entrance to the attraction. RSPCA appeals for information about abandonment

The RSPCA is appealing for information after an elderly German shepherd dog was found tied to railings at the entrance of a Manchester park today (7 March).

 

The black and tan dog was found at about 11.50am by a member of staff at Platt Fields Park.  It is not known how long he had been there.
