An American Bulldog who came into the RSPCA’s care in a “horrendous, emaciated” condition is still searching for a second chance of happiness in a new forever home.

Kia – who is a largely white dog – was one of two malnourished American bulldogs spotted by members of the public at a South Wales property earlier this year. Her body was skeletal-like, with bones across her body protruding against her skin.

The RSPCA is appealing for people to come forward with information about an emaciated dog which was found in a garden, after weeks of investigations have come to a halt.

Coda, a two-year-old American bulldog-type dog, was found in a poor state hiding between two bins in a garden in Church Street, Tipton, on New Year’s Eve. She was immediately taken into the RSPCA’s care, where she was found to be emaciated and with an injured back leg.
