The RSPCA is appealing for information after a cat was shot with an air rifle in Rugeley.
The eight-year-old ginger and white male cat was found by his owner in Mill Way, in Longdon, Rugeley, with a wound to his abdomen on Thursday (24 September) morning.
Upon examination at the vets, it was found that a pellet had lodged into his pelvis. He has now been discharged from the vets and is being cared for at home.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a cat named Jessie was shot with an air rifle earlier this month.

We are appealing for information after a cat in Gillingham, Kent was shot in the leg, causing it to break.
Lilly, a black and white moggy, went missing from her home in Albany Road on Friday, 13 June. After a couple of days of searching she was found lying in nearby bushes in her back garden with a broken leg.

We’re appealing for information after a cat lost his eye because he was shot with an air gun.
Alfie, a ten-year-old black moggy, returned to his home in Mead Crescent in Chingford, London with blood around his eye.
It was originally thought Alfie must have been in a fight, and he was taken to the vets to be looked at. The eye was so badly damaged it was decided that the only option was to remove it.

RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information after a cat was shot in the face with a pellet gun in Wrexham.
Lindsey Brough of Greenfields in Burton was horrified when she noticed that her three-year-old tortoiseshell cat, Izzy had an airgun pellet lodged in her nose. It is uncertain when the shooting occurred but Ms Brough first noticed the injury yesterday (Tuesday 1 April).
