The RSPCA is appealing for information after a dog was dumped with a broken leg in Boston, Lincolnshire, which has now had to be amputated.

The male lurcher-type dog was tied to a bush with pink baler twine, in such a way that he was not able to lay down.

 

He was spotted ‘purely by chance’ ‘down a dead-end road called Cuthberts Lane, in the village of Frampton West, Boston at round 4.30pm on Monday 18 September.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a cat was shot at least six times in Doncaster.

‘Summer’, a white and black female cat, came home in a shocking state just after midnight on Monday (18 September) and has had to have her eye removed as a result.
