We’re appealing for information after five baby bunnies were found dumped in a box in a field in Soham, Cambridgeshire on Tuesday, 9 September.
The domestic baby rabbits, called kits, are thought to be around just three-weeks-old – too young to survive on their own. A passing member of the public found them abandoned in a field and brought them into the nearby Pet Doctors vets.

Homeless in a half shell!
Three rare red-footed tortoises were found by bemused staff in the outdoor display of rabbit hutches at a Pets at Home store in Woodrow Way, Gloucester, last Saturday 30, August 2014.
The staff called us and we collected the animals and took them to be checked over by a specialist vet. The vet found the tortoises were cold and slightly underweight but otherwise unharmed by their ordeal.

We were called on Monday 5 May about four year-old Bailey, who was found with a dislocated leg near Sainsbury’s supermarket in Howard Road in Grays.
It is suspected that Bailey had been run over and then left. He was lying down, unable to walk, panting heavily and there was blood all up his back legs.

RSPCA Cymru is appealing for information about two rabbits and a guinea pig that were found dumped in cardboard boxes in the car park of a community centre in Caerphilly county borough.
The animals – one grey rabbit, one white rabbit and a black and white guinea pig – were found in two boxes outside Plas Mawr community centre on Sunday 9 March 2014. The boxes were labelled “rabbit” and “rabbit and guinea pig”.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a dog was found in Luton at the weekend with a severe neck injury.
The crossbreed dog was found on Radnor Road in the Sundon Park area of the town at about 6pm on Saturday night (8 March). The RSPCA was contacted after it was found that he had a serious wound all the way round his neck.
