We are urging pet owners not to forget their animals as summer finally arrives, with temperatures set to soar this weekend.

We are reminding people of how hazardous the inside of the vehicle can be for dogs.

We’re concerned that people are not taking on advice and are continuing to leave their animals in places that are far too hot.

A young duckling landed himself in hot water – literally – after he managed to get stuck in a car wash at a Tesco’s in Norfolk.

The duckling was found around 4pm on Thursday 27 June at the car wash at the Tesco store in Hunstanton.

He was found soaking wet near to the car wash and was handed in to a worker at the store.

Our officers and wildlife experts will be ringing geese in the Lake District tomorrow (Tuesday 2 July) as part of efforts to better understand the population in the area.

We are appealing for information after a pony was found dumped with horrendous injuries in Winterbourne near Bristol.

Watson, as he was later named by HorseWorld, was found on 8 June in a field on Old Gloucester Road.  He had horrific wounds on much of his body which appeared to be some kind of burns.
