Yesterday our dedicated water rescue team rescued 18 horses from a flooded area in Christchurch, Dorset.
Beginning at 7.30am the operation involved 17 of our specially trained water rescue officers as well as two chief inspectors and an equine officer.

Influx of calls about goldfish being eaten as part of drinking ‘game’
We are condemning an alarming new trend involving fish being eaten as part of a bizarre drinking game.
There has been a spike of calls to us in the last week all describing videos of people drinking a shot of alcohol with a fish inside.

Animal lovers are being given the chance to vote for their favourite snap of a pet in the People’s Choice category of the prestigious RSPCA Young Photographer Awards, which launched yesterday.
