A rescue cat left dumped in a box outside a shop has proved to be the purrrrrrfect pet by raising the alarm when her young owner’s blood sugar levels dip to dangerous levels.

Today two greyhounds, who are currently in our care, appeared on ITV’s This Morning in the hopes of finding a new home.

We are appealing for help to track down the owner of a herd of ponies found wandering in farmland in Oxfordshire.

The five mares thought to range in age from eight to 12 years old were discovered loose on fields in Burford, Oxford last weekend.

RSPCA Inspector Doug Davidson managed to catch and transport the ponies with the help of Blue Cross pet charity’s equine team.

A team of officers from RSPCA Cymru have successfully rescued a sheep precariously positioned on a cliff ledge near Trearddur Bay on Anglesey last week Friday (14 March).

The sheep had very little room to move on the narrow ledge with a sheer drop into the sea below.

The dangerous rope rescue involved the team abseiling down the cliff face and trying to secure the sheep in an animal bag.
