RSPCA called to collect a stray tortoise “marching” across a golf course in Surrey

The RSPCA is appealing to find the owner of a tortoise who managed to find his way onto a golf course at Walton on Thames.

 

The tortoise was spotted by some golfers and the groundsman from Burhill Golf Club contacted the RSPCA on Friday, 7 July.

A dog is being treated by RSPCA vets after she was found dumped in a front garden in Orpington at the weekend, wearing veterinary bandages and a catheter in her leg.

Homeowners on Crofton Road in Orpington, Kent, were surprised to find the young/small Shepherd type dog with clear injuries sitting helplessly in their front garden on Saturday morning (8 July) around 7.30am.

A young cat who fell from a high rise block of flats is being treated by veterinary staff at RSPCA Putney Animal Hospital.

Little Beatrice was found shocked and collapsed on a patio at Arthur Court Charlotte Despard Avenue, Battersea on Tuesday 27, June.

She was picked up by RSPCA Deputy Chief Inspector Anthony Pulfer and taken straight to the hospital, but it was not known if she would pull through.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a dying puppy was dumped in a car carrier outside a Pets at Home, in Southwark.

CCTV footage shows a man with dark hair, and dressed in a dark top and bottoms hurrying over and then leaving the dirty carrier just outside the front door of the store in Old Kent Road, just before 11.30am on Thursday, 8 June.
