The RSPCA is appealing for information after a dog was found dumped in a phone box in Stafford during the early hours of Monday 12 November.

RSPCA Inspector Nayman Dunderdale received a call at around 5am to say a dog had been left inside the phone box in First Avenue, Stafford.

The dog is a brindle and white coloured female bull terrier cross breed dog and is thought to be around three years old.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after two young cats were found in a bag in a wooded area in Birkenhead.  A member of the public made the discovery on Wednesday (3 October).

The black and white male and dark tortoiseshell-coloured female are both thought to be aged around five months old.

THE RSPCA was called to rescue a furry friend who had been out-foxed by a hole in the floor and got himself well and truly stuck!

RSPCA Animal Welfare Officer Kate Wright was called on Wednesday 29 August to the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield after builders discovered a fox with just his head poking out of the floor.

The RSPCA was recently glad to assist in reuniting Alfie the cat with his owners after a period of two years apart!

Alfie was reported to the RSPCA’s helpline recently (30.07.12) after the Blackwood family who had been feeding and monitoring him as a stray were worried about the lumps around his chin.
